BTCC champion Hill set for Oulton Park Fun Cup outing

Jake Hill recently won the 2024 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship, but his season isn’t over just yet. Indeed, the national tin top conqueror will head to Oulton Park on Saturday 26 October to take on the FunCup Endurance Championship.

Hill will line up alongside Ginetta Junior frontrunner Charlie Hart in a bid to secure a £10,000 prize fund which is available for winning on debut. And with their combined pedigree as pace-setting drivers at a high level, Hill and Hart’s charge will be well worth watching at the Cheshire circuit.

FunCup will bring a field of silhouette race cars, based loosely on the VW Beetle to the picturesque venue. These machines will race flat out in two races on the International circuit, with an hour long contest followed by a three-hour feature race.

Hill heads to the FunCup grid following his finest season to date in the BTCC, having won eight races for Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport, on his way to a maiden title. Hart was twice a victor in the Ginetta Junior Championship this year, finishing third in the standings.
