Both Barwell Motorsport cars took a pole position each in British GT qualifying at Oulton Park this afternoon.

Rob Collard topped the opening Am session to give himself and his son Ricky Collard pole in the #63 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo2 for the first race on Monday 1 April. Before Sandy Mitchell did the same in the #78 Lamborghini in the Pro qualifying. He will line up on pole for the second race with his teammate Alex Martin.

It has been a dream start for Barwell after taking a one-two in FP1 this morning, now topped off by a double pole for the start of the season.

In race one, the Collards will be joined on the front row by Kevin Tse and Maximilian Goetz in the #18 2 Seas Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo, who held the top spot until the very end of the session. Their stablemates, Ian Loggie and Phil Keen in the #6 2 Seas Merc will start third.

Martin and Mitchell start race one in fourth position with Shaun Balfe and Adam Smalley fifth in the #59 Garage 59 McLaren 720S GT3 Evo.

Jamie Day in the #7 Forsetti Motorsport Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 Evo will start on pole for the first race in GT4 along with his teammate Mikey Porter.

In race two, Martin and Mitchell will be joined on the front row by Tom Gamble and Mark Radcliffe in the #27 Optimum Motorsport McLaren, with Loggie and Keen in third once again.

Collard and Collard mirror their Barwell teammates by also starting in fourth, whilst they are on pole with Balfe and Smalley taking fifth once more.

Seb Morris and Charles Dawson will start race two on GT4 pole in the #31 Team Parker Racing Mercedes-AMG GT4.
